Not a terrible deal on a good cord.
Walmart has the same price, and was able to use a CB site fwiw.

Project Farm tests extension cords: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j6sC_8Z4_w

I haven't watched it yet, but I think he includes the 50' version of this cord.

Thanks, OP. We recently had an incident with our cord and a hedge trimmer, so this is great timing for me.

You may need a 10 gauge cord (higher amp rating) for that, but check your generator. Using too small of an extension cord could damage your equipment.

Just bought two of these that I needed to add to my 10/3 100ft.... So I can make my lattes when I'm doing hardcore backwoods camping.

It looks like a really good deal on 12g and 100 foot. I will lean to 14g and 50', but if you want the biggest and longest, this is is good deal.

How does this compare to Yellow Jacket at Sam's for the same price?

Seems like quite a good price... At least lowest price on Camel³ for this specific item.

On June 6th, 2020 there was this SD for a similar 12/3 x100' extension cord. SouthWire, SJTW rated. ~$55.

Considering it was $55 about 2 years ago, $60 seems quite good...

It has been this price all month. It's the best price I have been able to find recently but I still wouldn't consider it a great deal. The 50" was $35 until recently too.
Walmart has it too: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Southw...w/21154667

15A? 12ga carries 20A in residential use. Something a little odd here.

The Yellow Jackets are extremely overrated imo. I'm not sure if they mightve been better in the past, but they're nowhere near as good as southwire (unless they've also taken a dive in quality over the last year or two.).

12ga /can/ carry 20A, but it's often recommended to go to 10ga on that for home use. Here in my area you have to use 10ga on any 20A outlets for residential.
