Bought it bc I'm cheap, but I would gladly pay more than I did, if I ever have to replace it.

I just bought one of these, and it was really easy to setup without tools, and it seems to be very nice and sturdy so far. Recommended with the caveat I've only had it less than a month.

Just bought one of those, as well — under $500 for a 14" thick king hybrid foam/spring. Great reviews, should be here later this week.

We got a large platform with drawers instead of a traditional box spring or open metal platform.

Get the Novaform Comfort Grande from Costco when they have it on sale. You can get a queen/king for around $500. You can search SD and find past deals as a reference. Costco return policy on mattresses is also unrivaled if you don't like it!
