I have a bigger Canon. MF733CDW. I use Greensky toner off of Amazon. They work like a champ.

I own a similar Canon printer and I have used off brand toner and it works, but I do have to press the OK button on the printer with a warning about "counterfeit or non-Canon cartridge". Not sure if there is a workaround for that so I don't have to press it each time. It's not that big of a deal, but would be nice to not have to press it each time I turn on the printer to print something. Smilie

got it love it and have been using the same normal toner that comes with it. it is without a doubt best printer purchase just miss the auto doc feeder.. otherwise hopefully bought for life.
