That post wasn't referring to quality though - it was referencing Hart trying to hit at Ryobi.

Hart tools are not bad tho, totally adequate for casual DIYers. I can't speak for their drill bits tho

I think it would be better said Walmart trying to cut into HD and Lowes DIY market.

The manufacturer TTI will take money from all 3 happily and let them compete.

Contract engineering/manufacturing not good with fast food analogy. It's even closer than that and more artificial market segmentation.
