Sure it will. Use your $5 for nintendo store credits, then apply that to your purchase.

interesting. seems like a cheap way to get a $60 game each year for $15, with 12 visits to game stop.

im tempted to do this 4 times, one for each kid and myself. there is usually a major nintendo game each year that we want to get.

Yea it's definitely worth it. They also run sign up bonuses where they give you $15 in points just for signing up - so in that case it pays for itself immediately then you get the $60 over the course of the year.

how do you redeem this in store? do you need to print something off and bring it in, or do you present an id card at the store to get the $5 nintendo credit?

just signed up and of course I realized the shipping address used was my old address, hopefully nothing is actually shipped.

In person only, and if you're on top of it you will benefit. But I forget 1 out of every 2 months.

You just give them your phone number and then they'll look up your account - the $5 reward will be in there every month on the 1st (with the execption of the first month perhaps - I recall it taking a bit longer).

The coupons expire each month, so you get $5/month, but only for that month. However, I've been able to use the coupon both in store and online for the same month. Usually find a game in store, then buy a $10 digital currency code online.

how does that work? I assume as soon as you use it in store the online coupon disappears, and vice versa?

how do you stack them so you can do $10 at once?

sorry for all the questions! I appreciate the help!

I was thinking of creating an account for each of my kids, so id have 4 accounts. would they give me a problem buying four $5 nintendo eshop certs in store each month? Then Id let the codes stack up and get a good nintendo game each Christmas with the saved up credits.

I have four cell numbers I can use (two real ones and two google voices)

What I do is take a screenshot of the coupon. Then you can use the same code online. I've heard it doesn't work if you use it online first, but I've had no issues doing it in store first, then online.

You can't use them both in the same transaction, but (at least right now), you can use it once in person and once online in 2 separate transactions.

interesting! thanks! I think in order to use the $5 credit online I have to buy a $10 nintendo eshop certificate?

I plan to do 4 reward shop accounts (one for me and one for each of my kids) and then stack them up the a good nintendo game each Christmas (they each have their own switches). Smilie I wonder if the print out would be a problem if I tried it so many times in a row.

does the screen shot have a unique code? that way they wont think im showing the same code 4 times? hehe. I assume you take a screen shot of the page after you click redeem in store only reward, and not the page with the different in store options.

Hmm I don't think so! It's completely legitimate to have an account for each one of your kids - I feel like I'd just tell them that when you go in. I would ask them though, maybe talk with the manager just so you don't pay for four subscriptions and then they give you issues. Best to clear it anyway because apparently some gamestop stores don't allow the purchase of game credit with the $5 reward (although in every gamestop I've tried in PA/MD I've been able to).

I assume the screen shot is of the code after you click on the redeem button for the in store coupon? not the page that shows the in store coupon options? Smilie

Just pulled up the app. I have a section called "Active Offers" that shows the coupon. Clicking on that will pull up the barcode to scan it in store, but it also has the code that can be used online in the picture too.
