Tomorrow (8/3) Costco will have the 21 count for $14.79 -$3.80 = $10.99
10.99 / 21 = 52.3 cents per sponge

This deal is 9 count for $5.85
5.85 / 9 = 65 cents per sponge

Costco significantly better.

This deal would equate to $13.65 for a 21 count.

Blue is less abrasive and doesn't scratch.
Yellow is more abrasive and will scratch things like plastic and even glass.

This was $4.12 the last time it was front page. More than $1.5 increase and still front page again?

Be careful, I've had blue scratch too if you press hard. I use the blue to polish hard water stains on automotive glass and it can scratch glass if you're too rough.

Good point - I should have said, "much less prone to scratching."

These are also not very lasting. Used to keep one sponge under light use conditions for about 6 weeks (with regular wash in dishwasher or washing machine). Now, they barely last three times (more often falls apart after 2) and the blue scrubbing portion comes off from the lighter colored blue sponge which tears after the first use already.

Not worth the $$ anymore. Used to be good stuff.

Order 4 and get and extra 5%, use prime card get another 5%...so $35.28 - $1.76 multibuy - $5.29 S&S - $10.12 coupon - $0.91 prime card = $17.20 / 36 = $0.48 per sponge

These were 12 for $5.59 on Jan 3 with S-S or 46 cents each. The scrubber side fell off on that batch.

I had a similar experience from my last Amazon purchase of these 6 months ago. Was wondering if they might be counterfeit? Last Sam's Club purchase a couple years ago was fine.

Also had the same experience. Only ever purchased from Costco. My latest batch falls apart after one wash. Trash product now.

Pic of my sponge after one wash.

There are plenty of better dish solutions than these that'll save you money in the long run and generate less waste. Swedish dish towels are great as a replacement for the soft side of the sponge, dish towels, and/or paper towels to wipe up spills. Easy to clean either with a vinegar bath, microwave, dish washer, or clothes washer, and last longer than these blue sponges. After about 50-100 washes, when they're done for, you can throw them in the compost, or at the very least they do actually biodegrade over time, unlike plastic sponges.

For scrubbing, there are plenty of nearly limitless scrub brushes (even natural scrub brushes) that'll last years.

Wow... are the greens that bad now, too? I've found them to be great on pans and flat stove tops.
