I used it once and never worked on bath tub drain that was completely clogged though. It's better yo use baking soda and vinegar, or just use "snake." Any of these harsh chemicals are disaster to your piping system and actually harmful to environment.

I've heard others mention to never use Drano as it temporarily helps the problem but ruins the pipes. Can anyone confirm?

Great for proactive drain cleaning -- when your sink or bathtub/shower drain starts to slow down, pour a bit in and come back a few hours later and flush with hot water. I usually pour it in before bed or before going to work in the morning, giving a chance for the high pH to break down goo in the p-trap.

Way to pricey, dollar tree sells it for 1 buck and it works just as good. Dissolved the hair clog or debris.

Just used an 80oz bottle in 3 stages to get rid of a deep clog. Couldn't hit the damn thing with my snake somehow, but super happy that this finally worked. Probably wouldn't rely on it too much but seems fine for occasional PVC use. Will get a million opinions on this from a million people.

I tried the ones from dollar and they look like water and didn't work that well.

I use this once a year just to keep pipes clean

Best stuff is Professional Drain Cleaner from Ace. It's sulphuric acid.

Pretty sure this was a factor in ruining some of my pipes. Granted they were mostly old lead and cast iron drain lines, house built in the 50s. But drano definitely helped accelerate the decay.

This is my favorite flavor. Way better than the tide pods.
