Wow I spent $380 on the wifi version 4 months ago. Jealous of this price especially since I left the wifi off on my unit and see the app as basically useless (for me).

I have the wifi version. Ran it for 2 months before realizing you need to remove the side panels to remove the plastic on the charcoal filters. Had some placebo effect cause I felt my nasal cavity clear when I ran it at night.

I have this non-wifi unit and it's awesome. I leave it on the smart/auto setting 24 hours a day and it adjusts itself according to the air quality. That feature works amazing. You don't need a wifi version and I'm a huge tech person. The smart/auto setting is enough.

It has leds that tell you how long before the filters need cleaning or replacing. I either rinse off or vacuume the outer filter and that's enough. I bought mine last November and the filter you replace still looks new.

Mine gets a lot of work as its next to a large bird cage with 4 birds and they put out a lot of very tiny feathers into the air and the filter gets them. I can see it when I clean it.

I'm tempted to buy another for another part of the house. Love this unit.

Fyi....I paid $365 so I would say this is a great deal

Same. I have 3 of the 400 models - one 400 and two 400S. Set them and forget them. Once for each level in my house Whisper quiet and work great. WiFi option basically a gimmick, never use it.

It's a fan. It doesn't use a lot of electricity, particularly on lower speeds.

Now you are making me want another. Lol. I'm gonna get one more.

It's amazing how much it filters out. When my wife cooks it knows immediately the air changes and kicks on high. I can cover the birds and night and senses that (must be feathers in the sheet) . I've got a Alen air filter in the bedroom and it's decent and their customer service rocks......but it's hard not to be impressed with this Coway. It looks good too!

Gave in. It arrives tomorrow. It seems a lot of people on Amazon say there's issues with the fan, etc and they have to do warranty replacements. But there's several other slickdealers in these threads that love it. So giving it a shot Smilie

I got the 400s this April @ $428+tax, very happy with the unit. I read some reviews where it complained not to work or detect, idk. I got it and cooked an omelette. Bingo, it changed color to show it detected the VOCs (oil and smell of the egg)

It really does it's job efficiently. Runs 24/7 without noticing any energy bill. The wifi app is useless for many insights it's supposed to provide. BUT it does work to control the unit. The app sometimes pops an error saying can't connect to device and must reset. DO NOT RESET. Just ignore the error & navigate to the "Control" tab on the top. All your controls and schedules work fine.

i know it's not an A/C, but wouldn't it help cool the room a bit at least besides removing dust and cleaning the air? it's dehumidifying too right.
