Costco offers members a four-pack of its 2200 Premium Allergen & Home Pollutant 1" furnace filters for $44.99, limit five packs per customer. A variety of sizes is available as shown below. This is a savings of at least $20 per four-pack off Costco's usual prices (as shown in another Slickdeal), and is much lower than prices available elsewhere.

Also note that MERV 13 may be too restrictive for older or cheaper air handlers and can cause performance/longevity issues with your system. If you don't specifically need MERV 13, go with whatever makes sense based on your personal/household situation. And most importantly, change out your filters every 1-3 months depending on how often your system is running. I just moved into a house with a heat pump (so it runs most all year) where they hadn't changed it in a year and basically no air was getting through.
