I added helpful links from reliable tech websites like Techpowerup to allow people to compare these graphics cards to competitor cards on the market right now and older graphics cards that they may have.

Please don't rely on (or trust people who rely on) hardware benchmarks from unreliable garbage websites such as userbenchmark.com that use synthetic estimates to create conclusions that are completely wrong and are a terrible predictator of real world performance.

Here are more reliable benchmarks for the RTX3060 Ti from other websites/sources such as Techspot, Tomshardware, and GamersNexus' Youtube channel:

I bought my 3070 founder edition at $499 a while ago, is this 3060ti worthy saving $499-$399=$100?

Both are decent video cards at MSRP prices, but the 3060 Ti has slightly better price for performance at its MSRP price of $400. The 3070 performs about 10% better than the 3060 Ti. At $500 vs $400, that means it costs 25% more for 10% more performance.

Techpowerup has a very useful chart that depicts performance per dollar - the 3060 Ti is at 100% while the 3070 is at 88%: https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...on/37.html

I'm skipping 4000 series completely there to power hungry. The 5000 series is rumored to use the chiplet design and hopefully use less power and be more cost efficient.

The Nvidia Ada Lovelace 4000 cards? Yeh, those cards will be crazy if the rumors of an 800 watt flagship card turns out to be true. I guess the 5000 cards will come out in 2025-2026?

its because the cuda cores are full fp32. Ampere isnt.

Low end lovelace will end up very competitive with last gen mid range per TDP
