you only should be charged price you pay, no matter when it ships. the only time it changes if you change your s&s after it's set. then you get the price at the time of the change
Recent example. I placed an order July 11th for in-stock Irish Spring $5.99 on a deal here. Required S&S and I made sure it was the earliest delivery possible. It still waited to ship until this week (I cancelled). Amazon sent an email Tuesday notifying the price went up and I would be charged $14.16 so I cancelled. These things have been going on for a at least a month. Prior to this never had a problem.
No idea why on checkout Amazon S&S says this garlic salt will not ship until September when it is clearly in stock. I know the price will go up because I've gotten notices that others have. Again, never seen this occur until recently. They push the shipping dates way out almost a month each time on in-stock items.

Right. I think you cancelled the order, but not the S&S. Cancelling order doesn't cancel S&S.
