Check out Techpowerup's GPU specs database. Find the Rx570 and then check the relative performance chart. This will give you an average performance difference between the GPU you have and the one you're looking to buy. According to the chart the RX 6600 is around twice as powerful as the 570. I chose the RX 570 from the popular list and checked the relative performance that way but you could also select the 6600 and see how much lower the relative performance was for the 570.

The 6600 is a very good buy for a 1080p with high to ultra quality settings and 60 FPS or better Graphics card. It can do a bit of 1440p at reduced settings (medium to low) depending on the game. The closest price competition card from nvidia would be the RTX 2060 6 Gig card at 230ish dollars (but the 6600 is faster than the 2060 and has more vram if that matters to you).

I think it depends on how long you wanna wait.
I don't think we've hit bottom but prices are not dropping that fast on the lower end cards. The 6600 was on sale with a rebate for $255 in early July so this is only $5 lower in a month.
We had been seeing 10% / month drops for a few months and then for the cheaper ones it slowed down a bit.

20% more cost for 15% increase in performance. I wouldn't but it's a toss up.

I would put it that 20 percent more cost but would last a year or two longer before upgrade.

No one can see the future, so do what you feel is best. No matter what, you're always rolling the dice. It could go down after you buy it, or it could go up if you decide to wait longer.
