I think it depends on how long you wanna wait.
I don't think we've hit bottom but prices are not dropping that fast on the lower end cards. The 6600 was on sale with a rebate for $255 in early July so this is only $5 lower in a month.
We had been seeing 10% / month drops for a few months and then for the cheaper ones it slowed down a bit.

20% more cost for 15% increase in performance. I wouldn't but it's a toss up.

I would put it that 20 percent more cost but would last a year or two longer before upgrade.

No one can see the future, so do what you feel is best. No matter what, you're always rolling the dice. It could go down after you buy it, or it could go up if you decide to wait longer.

It's been at or hovering near this price for almost two months from Newegg. I think this is the new price for 6600s.

6600 XT / 6700 ($370). The price gap between the cards used to be $250-350. So justifying $100-50 for 15% is more justifiable and impossible to achieve if you do decide to buy anything now. So purchase with intent of not upgrading or wait and check back in. The budget cards or next gen are rolled out last so that is 1.5 years before you see a rx 7600 xt or 4060 ti.

Here is a great article about the hierarchy of graphics card.
