More than twice as fast in a lot of games so I'd say yes.
RX 6600 is already kind of teetering the 60fps edge in most of today's games, though.
So whether to spend more depends on what 2023 to 2024 games are you anticipating wanting to play, and do they seem like games you'd get enough out of that you don't regret spending that extra money?
