Yeah Newegg needs to stop with this BS. Every time I see a good deal from them but it includes these dumb conditions, I just shrug my shoulders and move on. They used to be such a good retailer.

Running a Sapphire RX 570 myself, I am looking for a deal on a 6600 XT which is around 100% improvement over the 570(base 6600 is about 65%). If this deal wasn't on some weird payment system and rebate forms I would consider it.

The Zip offer is available for many cards, including a ?? YuanXi ?? 6600 XT for 219.99 (-11% for Zip) but no idea the company/brand and ships from China, 2 unknowns for me.

Anyone think this is worth it to replace a rx570 for 1080p gaming?

Obviously light years newer but 128bit vs 256bit memory. It seems like future proofing would be 6700xt or better…

More than twice as fast in a lot of games so I'd say yes.

RX 6600 is already kind of teetering the 60fps edge in most of today's games, though.

So whether to spend more depends on what 2023 to 2024 games are you anticipating wanting to play, and do they seem like games you'd get enough out of that you don't regret spending that extra money?

Took the plunge to upgrade my RX580. I tried to use iCloud private relay for my email with Zippay, got declined. No way I should have been. Can't try again for 12 months. Drats.
