Amazon had the Max on their Lightning Deal on about July 12.

Does anyone remember the Lightning price? I looked at my order details and it just says Lightning Deal. No price.

The only difference is the Max version has WiFi 6. If you have a newer WiFi 6 router then the Max will load faster.

Not a huge difference, Wi-Fi 6, slightly faster processor, half-gig more memory.

My invoice says lightning deal for the max was $20 off so around $35. This is a good though not uncommon sale price. Best deal within the past few months was HSN deal for $25 or QVC for $21 for the max (new customers) but haven't seen another deal that low that doesn't involve trade ins and extra credits.

Looking to purchase the lite Ed. So my kids can stream cable on their tv's in there rooms. Cable provider said I need a gen 3 or greater. Will this work ? What additional features does the full offer ? Is it worth it if they are just going to stream TV ?
