This is a pretty big price drop for a high powered camp stove with 20,000 BTU per burner which is good in comparison to its similar which are typically 8,000 to 10,000 BTU

This is a 45% savings. When tracking in the past 120 days, this is the lowest price this as been.

Bough one on Amazon price drop in 2016. Paid around $74 w/ tax.

Unlike Coleman, this stove can fit 2 large pans at the same time. It's really good for car camping with a large group of people.
These are GREAT camp stoves, a significant upgrade from Coleman (unless you're using vintage dual fuel) and probably the best design for a 2-burner propane camp stove there is.

Excellent for car camping and we also use ours for outdoor cooking in our yard and as part of our emergency kit during power outages. I think we've had it since 2014 and zero complaints or problems so far.
Excellent stove, I've been using this to cook outside a lot this summer to avoid heating the house more than necessary. If you leave it outdoors for any extended length of time (even under full cover) it will get a bit of surface rust, but is easily cleaned up with a bit of vinegar and baking soda. Works great for car camping too! Well worth it at <$100.

I've been on the fence with one of these but I prefer using my blackstone griddle camping. Easy clean up and less pans. Someone talk me onto it.

It's a lot lighter.

I have been doing a home remodel for over a year now. I messed my shoulder up. So I have procrastinated on putting a cooktop in the kitchen until I get my solid surface. This stove is great! As much as I hate to admit, I've been using it every day for over a year now. The burners are showing a little age but they work fine. As for this compared to a Coleman. It's easier to fit pans on the everest and pronged Dutch oven fits better. I need to buy my gas fittings and get that stove top in before my wife comes back from military training ......

False advertising. At 29,000 feet there's no oxygen, no way this thing would light. Pass

Anyone have any reservations using this stove in high altitude (above 7k elevation)?
We just used ours at ~7500 ft a couple weeks ago. No problems whatsoever.

High BTUs allow this to broil water a lot faster and cook better in the cold. Not to mention the capability to simmer on super low heat whereas other stoves are either on or off when you're trying to put it on extra low heat, which makes this stove a no brainer vs most others.

Any comments on this vs the Coleman classic ?

I have the coleman one. and this is better.

We went camping and my friend has the everest and was able to heat up water / food way faster then I did with the Coleman. Although the Coleman is $50 and will use less propane but heats up faster.

this thread deserved to be in FP, instead of the other short, uninformative one. Big Grin thanks for the find!
