These are a good pair of closed back headphones at this price, but I added the Dekoni Stellia pads and then these headphones punched way above their price range. I was skeptical that changing out the pads could make such a dramatic difference in the sound but I've become a complete believer.
The specific pads I got aren't sold anymore but it sounds like the " Dekoni Audio Custom Series Replacement Ear Pads for Focal Headphones" are the same ones? At any rate the change took about ten seconds and was so easy you could probably train a chimpanzee to do it. If you grab these headphones I'd definitely plan on at least giving those pads a try.
A portable bluetooth dac/Amp like the fiio btr5 & btr7 or ifi GO blu are great options. These sounds great and have the added advantage of not having to be physically tethered to your cellphone, plus these have a built-in microphone so you can take a call while listening to music.
Also they can be used as a wired dac/Amp when attached to your computer with a USB cable.
the hd6xx is probably one of the most popular audiophile level headphones of all time and you rarely ever hear people making posts about these headphones breaking. focal and hifiman on the other hand.......
Unfortunately this Headphones can't be used with Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra or the s22 ultra phone since no audio plug in outlet in the tablet or phone. Anyone knows how I can use it should let me know. Appears Bluetooth Headphones are the only Headphones worth buying this days.
The Qudelix-5K is a pretty good option. You can basically connect the Qudelix and your phone via bluetooth, and plug the wired headphones into the Qudelix.
The device is really small and is powerful enough to power nearly all headphones.
It also has really cool EQ features too. The device has a preset list of popular/"optimal" headphones EQs you can apply if you're not the type to adjust everything manually.
It's especially good for IPhone users IMO. Androids users can use the Wavelet app that they can use to EQ, but AFAIK IPhones users don't really have a option like that.
It can also connect to a Switch and Playstation, but it only works when connected using the USB cable. Kinda pointless to me since I'd have to connect a usb cable to the Qudelix 5k, and then a long headphone cable to get from the Qudelix to the couch lol.

Definitely get qudelix 5k! I recommend them for ANY headphones, and audiophile ones too! They've been in stock for a while, but don't take it for granted. At $100, it's the best of the bunch by miles!
Bought these the last time around for this price and couldn't be more pleased. Paired them with an iFi hip dac and absolutely love the sound. Incredibly clear and detailed for a closed back set of cans. The bass boost on the hip dac helps the occasional lack of bass on certain songs. No quality issues yet. Only concern is being able to get ear pad replacements down the road...
bought these last time they were at this price, amazing pair for the price IMO, pair w/ the BTR5 these things singgggg. I own 4 other headsets, used to have even more but have been thinning out the roster. Went deep in the audiophile rabbit hole and will be holding onto these...

Any chance you also wear glasses and can comment on the pads' ability to limit leakage while wearing them? I love these headphones to death and if the pads help that problem that'd be a game changer for me.

Here is a simple and cheap solution.
USB Type C to 3.5mm Female Headphone Jack Adapter, JSAUX USB C to Aux Audio Dongle Cable Cord Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S22 S21 S20 S10 S9 Plus/Ultra, Note 10, iPad Pro, MacBook, Pixel (Grey) https://a.co/d/alLalAG

If you want to take cheap route, don't buy these headphones. Just get the Port a Pros and call it a day. If you get these headphones, get better one like qudelix 5k to get most of these headphones.

I've demoed these cans and they sound great.
But since there are no replacement parts available, and the plastic in the headbands are notorious for snapping during use - I can't imagine actually buying a pair.

Where can I get more info, was looking at the Fiio Q3, dont need portability as much as I'd like to connect to iphone and then use it on my home amp when not listening to headphones.
