Thumbs up to OP. With the 10% off code, snagged this for $360 before taxes. Not sure where anyone else is finding a better card right now, but I can't. Prices on Swappa and OfferUp are ridiculous, and everyone denies the 5+ cards they are selling were used for mining. Yeah, right. I checked ebay as well, and couldn't find anything better. I'm interested in the Intel Arc, but with everything I'm reading lately about driver issues, etc., I think this is a pretty good option right now.

This is certainly a helpful post for those who are following the market, it appears mid-/lower tiers RTX 30 card prices are finally coming down. It looks they are pressed really hard to empty the inventories.

But still I think it's fair to say this is probably the worst timing to buy those cards. Unless you really need one of them now, there's no rush at those prices. They won't go away, prices won't go up, and more likely waiting will pay off rather quickly.
This is a faulty assumption. There isn't an endless supply of the top tier (3080, 3090, 6800xt, 6900xt, 6950xt) cards. Waiting only works if you're okay with buying the next gen at full msrp because there's a real possibility that you will wait yourself right out of stock on these last gen cards. Nvidia waited to drop the price so they're playing catchup now which is why the drops seem so dramatic. They're just catching up to AMD which has been steadily lowering prices for the entire summer and has pretty much bottomed out now (a 6900xt was 730 over a month ago and is now 700).

Wait till its free after rebate. Agree that whole chip charade pissed me off. I verify chips for a living...these dummies could have went to the foundries we have here. 14 vs 12nm isnt that much of a difference.

With the cost of energy way up and said to keep going up imo the days of cheap energy will be over for awhile. With that said miners won't be able to make a profit. And you have the whole crypto coins crashing also.

I agree and am not on their side, but in all fairness, the AIB cards are below MSRP literally everywhere. Basically this is only a deal if you're exclusively looking for a FE. But thanks for posting regardless. I always say even a bad deal posted (this isn't bad) is better than no deal posted.
Yeah, I bought one for a compact portable production build for a friend. 2-slot cards are hard to come by in AIB configurations, and with a SFX size PSU I don't dare try to stuff a 3080 into this SFF PC

Are these smaller than the 3 fan cards? I have a 3080 from msi but it won't fit in my mini itx. That's the only reason I would consider a FE
