I just came back from Sam's. You have to take (or call them, if you can get thru to someone) your online order number to the store to schedule your install before Aug 10. It doesn't matter when the tires come in. You need to schedule that appointment for before the 10th to get the $20 off per tire install for $0/tire.

Discount Tire match there deal for me Im in Lewisville Tx. Just north of Dallas , if u want Discount Tire's Replacement Certificates they charge me $19 per tire extra …
Ive had better experience dealing with tire issues with Discount T , thats why i went with them …. Good Luck !!!

I placed a pick up order of 4 goodyear assurance for total of ~$390 in checkout page, pick up at El Monte Los Angeles Area. Checking order history, my online order now shows full price +$80 shipping making it ~$550.

Long story short, I call Sam Clubs and a tire rep confirms that I would have to come in and pay for the order before the 10th to get the promotion.

It is not worth it to me having to make 2 trips to Sam's Club (one to order/arrange installation, then another to go back for the installation. I will go with slightly more expensive tires ( Michelin vs BF Goodrich) and try to PM with Discount Tire. Otherwise, I will wait for the Costco $150 off Michelin sale to comes back around.

The Good Year rebate (up to $75) form does not exclude Warehouse clubs. That said, I tried to submit the form online at goodyearrebates but it failed to bring up Sams Club when filling out the Retailer. It wouldn't take a manually typed in Retailer name and would only allow me to pick up from the auto-fill entries. I ended up choosing the Walmart that is right next door to the Sams. Not sure if they missed Sams Club by accident OR if rebates don't apply for Sams.

The special says discount given at register which adds to the confusion. This was only a 4 day window so not even enough time to get the tires in. They do not answer the phone for appointment. Mine came yesterday,and my wife could not get answer on phone so she went in to schedule today. Had to argue today to get the discount but they finally gave it. But had to pay today and 3 trips to customer service to get the total discount to the $160. Price is the only reason to buy tires at Sams. Service sucks.

I went into Sam's yesterday to get the discount off the installation. When the employee looked up the price on the order it was with the full 160 off on his end even though it only showed 80 off in my order history. I went ahead and paid. The employee suggested it would be more of a PIA to get it through the system if paying after the promo date ended. In short, they need to fix this on the app/website end for future deals to save everyone stress and annoyance, customer and employees both.

Here's my story with this deal. I ordered four tires with this deal in August and never received them despite calling Sam's and using the online chat three times over the course of a month. I eventually went in person to the tire department at Sam's where they were nice enough to honor the deal. When I tried to submit the rebate, Sam's was not on the list of authorized retailers. Fast forward a week and my rebate was denied. I would have saved a lot of time just using discount tire's price match, and might have even saved money because they are a participating dealer for the rebate.
