That's just like, your opinion, man.

900+ days the last 2 cycles.

I'd say it's a safe buy unless they want to rush the all-Mx platform.

I have the iPad Mini for my nursery, attached permanently to a gooseneck tablet holder while I am in there feeding the baby, etc. For use cases like this, where it's used as a simple video calling device / video watching device, it works wonderfully well even for 60hz. The app spacing is downright weird, but again, it doesn't matter once I am doing what I actually want to do.

Essentially, iPad mini is your portal into specific use case and everything up until the point of actually launching the app you need, should just be ignored IMHO to get the most out of this mini tablet.

Reading newspapers is certainly more pleasing on a 120hz screen, I give you that. But while reading books, you aren't scrolling as frequently, so it works wonderfully as a book reader. Watching videos / making video calls is also straightforward and 60hz doesn't harm the experience. Same goes for email, twitter, and social media, shopping apps, etc.

If they just fix the app spacing and icon sizing, I personally can live with 60Hz all day despite having a 120Hz bigger iPad Pro at my disposal.

No tax either!
When I tried checking out tax was applied. Going to my local exchange to price match with no tax. YMMV I guess

You are right, I guess it varies by state. My apologies.

As a kid toy, the big size is far more fragile than the mini.

I found the mini is better size than the air, I am able to hold it with 1 hand, easier to watch and carry around the house.

Likely. Apple is gradually switching all their product lines to their own silicone processors, and even reserving some features (like stage manager) to IPads with M processors.
