Just picked up the 36" Blackstone Griddle with Hard Cover for $160 at my local Walmart. According to brickseek, only one Walmart had it discounted for $160 with over 10 available. I would keep an eye on the brickseek link to see if they drop as we get closer to the end of the summer.

Same here. Last summer/fall I chased several blackstone deals that showed in stock on BS, and came up empty. Lesson learned. Props to those that are successful. I managed to grab the rhino griddle deal that was posted a few weeks ago - straightforward, no brickseek involved.
I went to 5 stores that had an adventurer for $97 last year and finally got one, so brickseek isn't accurate, but if you hunt long enough will pay off.
The major problem is the employees at all the stores see this site, and others. When it goes down to a good price, they hide the item in the back & take it for themselves or to sell. B/S can not figure that in. I have caught employees several times with these items in back rooms, I confronted them, & they got me one, but that won't happen often. PS: I'm 6'2'' 300 lbs & loud , only reason I was ever successful !

bought it last year. rusted after a few usage despite keeping it inside basement
You cant just use these out of the box and leave it. You have to season these really well first and then clean them up good after each use, leaving a coating of cooking oil if it's not going to be used again soon otherwise they will always rust, most especially in humid environments like a basement.
Ours is kept outdoors in our covered porch and have no issues with rust.
