since usually any promo will require you to wait from 90 days all the way to 6 months (perhaps more), they can easily get away with it.
not even showing the evidence will help.

Trust me, I work at a bank in risk and deal with complaints compliance daily. US Bank is a giant who is frequently audited and constantly under regulatory scrutiny, they won't not pay a promo if you met the criteria.

As I'm genuinely curious, I usually ask for people to post redacted emails of rejections for things like this after explaining and showing proof and then never hear from them again.
If they don't and it gets escalated to the CFPB and there's evidence of wrong doing, well you know the rest 👍

A no go for me but good luck to those who are comfortable with the risk.
You'll find that people have something negative to say about EVERY bank in existence. That's just the nature of what happens when you deal with an extremely high volume of customers in a service oriented market. It's just that the people with negative experiences are significantly more vocal than the overwhelming amount of people with positive experiences. Don't let human nature of gravitating to fear cloud your judgement. Scared money don't make money.
