Don't see the benefit of Samsung OLEDs when they don't support Dolby Vision. Especially when they're so much more expensive.

QD-OLED tv's have much brighter individual colors than a WOLED does because of it's pixel structure. Specific colors get hundreds of nits brighter than on a WOLED. Dolby Vision is nice to have, and it's ridiculous Samsung doesn't include it, but you can get the same panel tech in the Sony A95K with Dolby Vision. The Samsung OLEDs are actually priced cheaper the LG G2 line and have better performance overall.

Oh, I wasn't doubting. I just cant get it to work on my end. It looks like you have the "perks at work" store. Mine is the "edu" store. Looks like EPP has a better discount.

I just spoke to chat about the discrepancy...they offered to provide the mounting service for free. My local guy charges $75...so it's not a bad deal. But most, in the area, charge at least the $120 Samsung charges. I have 72 hours to decide. Decisions, decisions.

I placed an order previously for the $1840 price but after seeing comments over the last day that the price has now dropped to $1725, I contacted a CS rep for price adjustment. He said that they can't do price adjustments for EPP orders and asked me to place a new one. I was also able to request a free mounting option - the rep gave me a 1 time use unique coupon code that I could use to zero that cost out.

I'll have to refuse delivery for the older order, and once the delivery is back in the warehouse end of day, the refund will be processed....so here's to hoping for a clean and easy process...

The rep didn't really "honor the price". I placed a new order for the $1724.99 price. All the rep did was give a me a coupon code for the $120 mount. I actually got that for my original $1849.99 order as well as I had called customer service to place that order as I was having some internet issues on my end...I also didn't catch the name of the rep, I'm sorry!
