64 GB makes it unusable for most people.
for some reason most statements made on the Internet these days remind me of my older brother telling me that if my hand is bigger than my face, then I have cancer.

I would take a chance and wait for a month . Once iPhone 14 launches , good chance the Iphone 13 drops by another 100 to 699.

But it's still a good price for say trade-in to 14, especially if like others have said that you can cancel and get the money back for AC+
That would effectively take the 128Gb 13 to 650+tax+delivery
The trade in value for iPhone 12 is currently up to $400 on Apple. How does your math work?

No . Price drop once the new model Iphone 14 launches. Costco may drop Iphone 12 and keep Iphone 13 and 14.

They usually stop selling these for a bit until the new phone heat cools down, that's apple call. This is a very long shot...I would cancel the apple care and call it a day as good deal if it works

Phone is about to be two gen behind, meh.
Agreed.

The expected supported lifetime of an iPhone is 5 years. The iPhone 13 currently retails at 799 with 128gb of memory. Not considering trade-in values, that works to $13.31/month of ownership.

The expected life for this phone is another 36 months. 36 months multiplied by $13.31 is $479.40. Add in AppleCare for $150 for a total of $629.40.

If this is the phone you want, the insurance you want, the memory you want and knowing in approximately 36mos you'll lose support from Apple then the $30 savings might be worth it for you.

If the warranty refund works, would this be a good price for a physical sim + e-sim phone?
If all you are looking for is the physical sim + esim functionality, you have cheaper options; the iPhone SE (20 / 22) are still available around $350-429 new; the Pixel 6a is at 449 with a $50 gift card offer; or Google FI has the S22 at $299 with 4 months service required. There are other deals from MVNO's that come locked but unlock after a period of time ranging from 2 months - 6 / 12 months of service. (Visible 2 months, Metro and Cricket 6 months, RedPocket 12 months).

Or you can pick up used phones (iPhones from the XS / XR / 11 onwards, or many other Android options including Pixel / Samsung Galaxy).

Thanks, I am looking for any phone with physical sim + e-sim functionality or 2 physical sims.

Fwiw the iPhone 6S (7 years old in September) is still on the latest iOS.

I didn't know! Thank you for sharing. So with this updated assumption...

The expected supported lifetime of an iPhone is 7 years. The iPhone 13 currently retails at 799 with 128gb of memory. Not considering trade-in values, that works to $9.51/month of ownership.

The expected life for this phone is another 60 months. 60 months multiplied by $9.51 is $570.60. Add in AppleCare for $150 for a total of $720.6.

If this is the phone you want, the insurance you want, the memory you want and knowing in approximately 60mos you'll lose support from Apple then this might be a worth it for you.

And if you're wondering who still uses and iPhone 6S, ever heard of this small-time actor named Chris Evans? https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/...important/

I quoted for 13 prices not 12
Right now iPhone 13 is not on the list of phones which is allowed to be traded in by Apple.

His point was when iPhone 13 is "allowed" to be traded in, the trade in values will be similar to what iPhone 12 trade in value is.
