I own this... You likely won't find better for this price. It is noticeably brighter than any of the sub $150 projectors you'd find on Amazon. Make no mistake though, it still needs to be basically dark to get a good image from this.

The only issue is no real keystoning and the way the unit is designed its meant to sit flat. So you have to raise it to the height needed for where you want it projected. Not a quick thing to setup on-the-fly if you want to maximize clarity and low distortion.

....that said, of you want a movie night and willing to figure out the best placement for dirt cheap - this is it.

Made a follow-up post with confirmation of specs.

As for the naysayers in this thread...What the ever loving **** are you doing in a 55 dollar projector thread? You obviously only think projectors have one use case and thats to be brighter than the sun. Since your view is so effing narrow, I can't fathom what your minuscule brains thought they would find in this deal, but it's pretty apparent you're insane.

What they meant for 'Portable' is easy to move/carry it from one place to the other. It does not have built in battery. I purchased this projector fron previous deal and returned it. FYI, projector has native 1080p, and if you keep your screen size to about 40 inch, it is quite watchable even with low ambient light. But it wasnt just enogh for me. If you really want portable projector, invest little more and get Xgimi Halo or Wemax Dice, highgly recommend it.

What good is something if you HAVE to use it at its min size??

Like enjoy you new fast phone!!!

But it is BEST to be used in power save mode!!

Who would do that? Seriously??
For that matter, find me a 1080p ANYTHING under $100 that is brand new. Very difficult to find. Whether it be a tablet, phone, laptop, TV, projector, computer monitor.

Just 5 years ago projectors that were $65 were junk 320x270 resolution. Recently projectors increased to wxga which is like 1280x800. Very rare to find a 1080p model. Using this thing with blackout curtains and an 80 in screen and this is a great value.

unlike a lot of cheap models this one is also sealed so it cannot get black spots from dust. Not sure why they are selling for $55 but they are likely not making much profit

You do realize that it also includes a Roku? You would need that separately than the projector anyway and a screen to project on..so cost is irrelevant....
yes but the roku is used to subsidize the cost of the TV. That means this is an even better deal considering it does not include smart apps.

Roku is used to advertise streaming services to you and they make money off your viewing preferences.

Projectors have a lot of advantage over tv. They are much more portable. I would not put a 32" tv in my bathroom, but certainly I would take a bath with a projector. Also projectors reflect light unlike a tv which shines light into your eyes. They are much easier on your eyes at night. Also the big screen causes less eye strain especially if the image is not dim.

32" TV is also 720p and this thing is 1080p. Pretty crazy to get a 1080p projector for $55.

There are videos on YT from a cheap projector reviewer with 12.1K subs and he has no problems using the projector with all his room lights on at 40 inches. It's not perfect but not bad.
The greatest advantage of a TV over a projector is......

ILLUMINATION!!!! Oh yea, you can turn that down too...it's easy!

TVs that weigh 8lbs are portable too....

Not really...

About Screen Mirror is disable by some APPs:
^ Due to HDCP copyright issues (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) Netflix /Prime Video / IMDb / Hulu / Disney Plus prohibit the use of the smartphone's Airplay, Screen Mirror and Cast function to connect to projectors, TVs, monitors to play movies. However some other Apps like YouTube can be projected and played directly.
^ The only solution is having a Fire TV Stick or Roku Streaming Players to connect the projector to watch the contect on Netflix, Prime Video, IMDb, Hulu, Disney Plus.
^ This product doesn't include Fire TV Stick or Roku Streaming Players.

Again does not compare. That projector is lower lumens, and that current screen is a slickdeal on another post for $9.99 from vankyou. Just paid $65 including the screen for this projector and no tax.

That one is over $100 after tax

Yes and you did not check the other slickdeal for a vankyo screen for $9.99? This projector also came with a 120" screen for $65 in the past.

That one on walmart is $110 after tax and this one is 65 because I purchased the screen separately from vankyo

Where does it say 150 ansi lumens? It says 8000 lumens and on another ad it lists 7000 lumens on amazon. I'm inclined to believe it is dimmer than the 12000 (150 ansi) lumens claimed by wewatch.

Also these models do not compare. The one you linked has keystoning, which leads me to believe it is a lower quality lens inside. It also has bluetooth and a 5watt speaker vs the 3 watt in the wewatch.

I would guess the wewatch is a higher quality projector as some of the other models exhibit screen tearing when using 60hz mode.

The wewatch v30se seems like a higher quality projector for the price

Also the projector you linked does not have wireless casting, only wired and the cables are not included. It does not have wifi
