Why spend $147 on an additional 8gb of ram and $73 for an additional 256gb, also 45whr is awfully small for a 15 inch device, perhaps it has a 2.5 ssd slot in which a bigger battery can be upgraded, not finding a review.
Idk if this is how it works with modern laptop but my laptop has a small battery with a free 2.5 inch ssd bay that can be upgraded to a bigger battery and it occupies the ssd bay ,surely worth the investment if this is the case
yea, also the ssd is $73 for an additional 256gb, u can get a 1tb ssd for $73
To both of you, that is not the actual price hike in the 1st place because the coupon is taking a huge chunk off from the price. Try configuring without the added 8GB Ram and 256GB SSD and see how much less price you get and let us know.

Yea...i gave you a price omitting the RAM...$537 pre-tax with those coupons.
Didnt bother w/ with downing the ssd, savings wasnt substantial enough.

i tried it, the 16 gb model with 512gb storage was $633,the 8gb model with 256gb is $506 (all other specs are matched)
How well does $127 account for and extra 8 gb ram and 256gb storage.

Interesting. I got $615 originally, but perhaps its my selections. After backing off the RAM, it was $80 less. Considering RAM is $30 for another 8GB stick, not paying an extra $50 just to have it installed 😏.
To the OP, not crapping on the deal, quite the contrary. Just pointing out that this can be had cheaper in the end with some minor effort.
Anyone know if the additional savings with ID.me works with the coupons?
Is there a seniors (50+) discount with capitalone/id.me?
For the ones that get the BTS2022 to apply, a popup said for students who further verify with ID.me, there was an additional 10% applicable.
Works for Nurse. With a bit of a different configuration (I don't think 8 gigs of ram is worth the upgrade and would like more ram anyways, also i left drive at 256gig because if I am going to upgrade I probably will do 1tb, and if I have it open for ram might as well) also added the touch screen for $30 don't use it much but pretty cheap to add, came out to be $487.56 for all that. Haven't decided if I want it though lol, I generally prefer 14 inch for lighter. After 8% cb site and 5% cb from Discover I should be around $420.
It depends on your use case. The one you linked is an Intel Evo series. It is throttled to accommodate the thin, fanless design. If you're a power-user, the one in OP is a more powerful laptop. If you care more about portability than having a more powerful laptop, the Galaxy Book is thinner and lighter.

With the config I had, it was $537 pre-tax. Save more with CB sites (ie Top...) and even paypal payment (check their deals).
Get your own additional 8GB RAM for what...$30 more?
Ends up being around $550 total for me...rather slick.
