Note that this does not have an altimeter ..

If you are into climbing stairs and slopes.. IMO a big miss

Did anyone ever get the Fitbit Versa 3 for $110 or so from Costco?

I think you got that backwards. Anything Fitbit is great value compared to Mi whatever. CCPs got their eyes on you! đź‘€

Wife and I both switched from Apple Watches to these about 5-6mos ago. Wear them pretty much 24/7. Only had 1 hiccup where it wouldn't sync, doing a hard reboot of the watch fixed it and the data was all still there and sync'd.

Much prefer the reduced weight/heft/width versus the iWatch.

I was deciding between Charge 5 and Versa 3, but found out that the Charge 5 doesn't track floors/stairs like the previous Charge models did, which is quite the disappointment.
My Fitbit 3 says I climb anywhere from 60 to 200 flights of stairs a day. There is no world that is accurate.

Does anyone know if you get a longer warranty on this from Costco vs Best Buy? I got one nearly two weeks ago from BB and am just inside the return window.

I got this from BJS.com a while back. Came with a 1-year subscription to Fitbit premium included in the price.

It's been working fantastic and was a switch away from my Huawei sport watch 2. Prior to the watch, I had a fitbit charge 3. I don't care about the floors tracker because it never was accurate.

Overall this tracks fitness well. Battery life is short (1-2 days) if you use GPS for workouts but that's the case with any GPS-enabled tracker. Just letting it auto-detect workouts is enough for me most of the time. I don't particularly care about distance or maps of my workouts. I just have a cardio and step goal and it tracks those fine. I get 7-10 days of battery out of mine but I also keep it in sleep mode most of the time so the screen isn't coming on often and notifications from my phone don't happen. If not in sleep mode, I get about 5 days.

I have this and it's pretty good.

I needed it for work to get 10k steps in for points for gift cards and I forget to take it with me when I go jog too often that I just tie it to my ceiling fan for 30 minutes go whirl 5 miles.

It's pretty accurate when I do remember to take it.

Everything that Google acquire needs years to adapt before they work well. It's only been few years since they acquire Fitbit. They will probably have most of Fitbit engineers work on the Google watch, than fix the issues of the latest and last Fitbit that came out. I will stay away from these version of Fitbit if I were you.
With all due respect - they are completely separate business units, with separate staff, operating independently. Fitbit employees are doing their best with the Fitbit products. And the Pixel Watch team is working on their product.

There may or may not be reason to get this specific generation, but it isn't because of Google moving staff around like you describe.

I've been using my Charge 5 for about a year. It is a really great fitness watch! Really light and comfortable. The battery lasts about 4-6 days if regular use before needing a charge. I do wish it had a few more specific workouts it could track.

I bought this tracker last year from Costco, but my unit had a battery issue and would drain completely in a single day. Google customer service was ridiculous—after a week of troubleshooting with them, they kept insisting that I had the always-on display enabled (they apparently can check your settings), but it was not enabled nor had I ever enabled it. After going back and forth, they refused to acknowledge any other possibility and I returned the watch to Costco.

I got this and the versa 2 to compare.
The find my phone app works only 50% of the time. May be a compatibility problem with my Samsung Galaxy but just keep that in mind if find my phone is important to you.
Other than that it does what it says well and is very comfy.

The charge is missing several of the features listed in OP

It does have acceleremoeter, GPS, optical heart rate, ElectroDermalResponce (I think that is what EDA is) and ambient light sensor. no heat barometer real ECG etc. those are all on the Lux.

Charge does ECG or is there a difference in the ECG?
