Good for beginners, no impacts kind of annoying.

Any pro users know how these perform? I mean I know they can't complete with top end products but I'm curious how these compare out in the real world.

If you're just doing your own home stuff these hold up pretty well, better than some of my older craftsman stuff. Though i think it makes sense to pick up nicer bits from makita or milwaukee on sale because it sucks to have a bit break in the middle of a weekend project or have the bit destroy a fastener.

Don't expect much from the driving bits. Unless you're using them in a good old fashioned screw driver they're likely to strip relatively quickly. This isn't entirely the bits fault though, it's just what happens when driving with a drill. The drill bits will work extremely well for softer materials (e.g. wood, plastics and aluminum.) Don't expect them to last very long working with anything hard though. I don't foresee any issues with the rest of the tools.

Personally I'd pass on this as a simple set of drill bits and a separate set of impact rated driving bits makes more sense.

What would the alternative to the real world be? 🤔

Yeah, as the other guys said, pro users are going to likely take a pass on these. Quality is just one component. The main reason is they don't have any real need to spend $25 on a multi-tool set, since they most likely already have most of this stuff covered by Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, etc.

This is totally targeting the weekend warrior dad types that want to buy something that can cover a lot of tasks for relatively cheap.

IOW, pretty similar to the lower-end stuff put out by Harbor Freight. And I imagine YMMV about the same with HF and Hart -- some of their cheap tools will work great for you, some will prove junk.

I've gotten cheap ones from ryobi and some good ones from DeWalt. One common thing with both is I lose the bits I need. Buy a set of good and okay.

Don't even look at these for any heavy-duty work or constant use. I tried and can say I now use my (remaining) Hart bits as back-ups and for light duty jobs.

I think I only paid about $12 for this on clearance a year or so ago.

I've used several of the nut drivers, shank torx bits, and allen keys for my Jeep, bikes, and AC unit. I put in new hinges & door handles for all my doors (12 total)with the shank screw driver bits. I used a couple of the masonry bits to put in bike hooks in my garage, and my flag pole bracket. I haven't used the drill bits, small screw driver bits, or spades yet.

I'm pretty happy with the performance so far. I have plenty of higher quality craftsman sets, but this stays on top of my workbench for quick access for small tasks.

Not a bad deal as long as you are aware these are a disposable item. A weekend may be all you get out of em, depending on how ruff you are on em.
