Can the GPU inside a mobile GPU's be upgraded to a newer card once the stock GPU starts "showing its years" or if the card dies? Is it compatible with standard 16x PCI GPU cards?

I love the form factor of my x13 flow, but either it plays the games I want to play natively or I just remote to my desktop pc. I'm a buyer at 1/3 this cost maybe.

Not this exact GPU but somebody I know tested an external 3080, games were stuttery mess and he immediately returned it. Would not recommend unless you can literally buy it for the GPU price.

This version supports hdmi 2.1 while the 3080 (2021) only supports hdmi 2.0.

This is not a standard external gpu. It doesn't have any of the frametime inconsistency that using this laptop with a 3080 and gpu enclosure would have.
