Why not take advantages of both? I agree that Amex tends to offer better deals most of the times, but there is nothing wrong with using good deals from Chase. While Amex may offer better deals, their customer support is far inferior than Chase. I've always had positive experiences with Chase, but Amex can be pretty rude or condescending.
