I've bought several refurbished kindle fires and paperwhites from woot. All of them have shown up looking brand new . They have all performed exactly as expected.

I'd rather have a Paperwhite at $45 than a regular Kindle at $30. Especially if it was the older one without any lights.

Up until this latest regular Kindle, none of them came with lights. You needed to go to the Paperwhite (or any of the better ones like the Oasis, etc) to get the lights.

And you can put it in airplane mode and it stops any syncing between the device and your accounts. It's great if you borrowed ebooks from the library and want to keep them downloaded until you read them.

If I remember it correctly that spying part stay on including when you power off your device. Only way it turn off is when it have no power like the battery died or get remove which they no longer allow the battery to be remove. (https://www.youtube.com/c/BraxMe/)

I bought an refurbed Oasis for $90 during the last sale. Woot screwed up and sent me a Paperwhite instead. I emailed Woot support and they wanted to refund me $20 to keep the Paperwhite 🙄 I emailed back about how that was ridiculous considering the price difference was $45 between the two versions. So then they replied they'd give me a $20 refund and a $10 credit 🤦🏻 ♂️ After numerous emails somebody with a brain showed up on Woot's side and refunded the $45 difference. It was a very annoying process. At least they made good on their screw up.

woot customer care is so bad

I bought a Dyson foam roller head for the V10 and they sent me the old v6 version (which still works with the v10 technically but its not the updated one that was shown in their pictures). They only offered $20 credit to keep it

I emailed them back multiple times explaining how ridiculous their responses were, detailing the whole scenario each time. Took a number of volleys. I think they have a toll free number too, but I have no experience with it.
