Nevertheless, what some don't get about Sammy deals, is continuity. They wanna keep you, and if done right, never gonna pay more than $200 a year for latest and greatest, plus they throw a few carrots along the way.

I used to buy the new note every time but they have less innovation each year and make it harder im still hanging in to the note 8 but literally have tried to buy a new phone 3 times a year from Slickdeals for years and always get frustrated and just give up.

You can have them (or just do it online) order the phone first & then when it arrives, cancel order -> trade in -> rebuy w/ GC & coupon. But you run the risk of the trade in promo expiring.
The BB reps in store should have access to documentation with a listed promo dates. Obviously YMMV with promos getting pulled early, etc.
