Again, I don't know when the trade in promo ends and I'm also not sure of the exact terms of the coupon but I do know you can use it later. I think it expires in October. So I think it may be prudent to lock in your trade in value first.

BB applied a $500 off coupon toward the phone and gave me a $300 gift card. I used the gift card to pay the remaining 250 plus tax. In Utah, the taxes were on the AFTER coupon price, meaning I only paid tax on 250, not the full 750.
Now that I look at it, the "Offer ends 8/25/22. Terms and conditions apply." probably just applies to the free case and memory upgrade. The S22 page also links to the trade-in values page, and I don't see any mention there of when the offer ends. So maybe I was wrong -- I was going off memory. Maybe you only need to be concerned if you're buying the flip or fold and want the free upgrades.
Edit: under disclosures it also says "*Terms and conditions apply. Offer valid 8/10/22–8/25/22". But that text only appears on the Flip and Fold pages, not the S22 pages. So maybe the offer will continue. I hope so.
