I traded in my Z Flip 3 5G, AT&T, and got $800 credit toward a Galaxy S22 Ultra (I didn't like the Flip's folding screen so was not interested in the new foldables). Others may have reported this, but $300 was in the form of a gift card and the $500 "bonus" was a coupon that they printed at the point-of-sale and scanned.

The guy called theamager over and she said it was an AT&T exclusive offer and needed to be done online.
When I told her that the site says in-store only and it was a SAMSUNG promotion, she gave me another dumb look and said she couldn't do it.
I am happy with the S20FE but was hoping for a S21FE and $100 gift card.

Another store I went to had a huge poster by the front door with all the trade in values for the promo.
Try another store, or read the thread and get some pointers. they need to do it as a trade in (not upgrade) for an unlocked version of whatever phone you want thats part of the promo.

The best buy is 45 min away and I only went because I was over here for a doctor's appointment.
The next closest one is 1.5 hours in the opposite direction from my house. Not worth the aggravation for an extra year of updates. After all I have been using a LG V35 Thin-Q that hasn't had an update in over three years.
Not only that, but the AT&T prepaid plan I'm on doesn't include 5G access.

I did the offer 3x on Sunday when the price for the 128gb S22+ was $799. I traded 3 S21's and paid around $20 in tax for 2 S22+ 128gb and $70ish for an S22+ 256gb.
The price of the phones went up on Monday. The only one that is discounted right now is the regular S22 128gb. It's $699 right now.
Turned out to be in great condition. "Missing sim tray" was actually missing S-Pen and "severe screen burn" was hardly noticeable. Not sure if clean ESN matters for trade-in, or something like finance lock would be acceptable. Network lock is fine.
