Does anyone know why that is?
The other eligible one has 2 EIP totaling over $600 (the highest one of the 10 lines).
Don't make sense!
edit: best buy national customer service is the worst i have seen in recent memory. why u cannot call a local store is beyond stupid. i have been told countless times my local store/s have the phone in stock, but in actuality no one does.
How to get the "activate now" price and how to activate now? My phone is unlocked and my carrier is xfinity mobile. Can I get the activate now price with this carrier? And I assume activate now means I just need to extract the SIM card from my old unlocked phone and insert into the new one I'm buying? Did I miss anything?
Sorry if the question is too naive.

1. Open a new postpaid account and line with the carrier if you are not already its customer.
2. Open a new line on an account you already have with the carrier.
3. Replace the device on an existing line you have with the carrier.
For 1 and 2 they would give you a sim from that carrier. For 3 you can transfer the sim from old phone to the new.
So you see what you wanted would have been possible on activate now with 3, if you were with one of the big-four (or perhaps Google Fi). Unfortunately Best Buy does not offer xfinity mobile, so you have to do activate later where you can deal with xfinity yourself separate from Best Buy.
There have been reports in the past where the Best Buy agent just gave you a sim from one of the carriers but didn't bother to activate it, while still giving you the activate now price. That isn't what they are supposed to do so YMMV.

Anyone successful with a glass screen protector though? I got a highly rated kind from Amazon that claimed it would work with fingerprints and once I installed it, no it didn't. I turned up touch sensitivity etc and still couldn't register any fingerprints. So I guess a bit of a blessing because now I am "forced" to use the naked Gorilla Glass which I prefer to a screen saver, but I would entertain a glass one if it could work with fingerprints and not too expensive. Let me know if anyone knows a good one

BTW this is not a tempered glass but a screen protecting film for which the fingerprint works as expected. Something is better than nothing.
