I have 10 lines on the family T-Mobile account but Bestbuy said only 2 of them are eligible for upgrade though T-Mobile's website says ALL lines are available for upgrade. All the lines I have EIP's on them so I didn't understand why those 2 eligible lines are different from the 8 other ineligible lines.

Does anyone know why that is?
How much EIP is left on the 2 lines? Maybe if it's a smaller amount, you can still qualify for upgrade

One of the 2 eligible lines have no EIP attached.

The other eligible one has 2 EIP totaling over $600 (the highest one of the 10 lines).

Don't make sense!

I have an extra s22. Was considering trading that in for 650 for zflip4 with Samsung. For reselling later, is it better to wait for a trade in offer like this one for the s23 series? What should I do with an unused s22?
when later? i am pretty sure the s23 will be getting just as good a value as the zflip4 if you pfactor in the extra money difference to get the zflip 4

flip 4 oos everywhere on my area. was told that they can only price match at the time of pickup, as my preorder cannot be modified. but they have no idea when the phone will actually be in stock. was told i will have to ask later. took a screenshot of the current sale price and will hope they honor it. honestly i will never preorder a phone ever again. such a hassle

edit: best buy national customer service is the worst i have seen in recent memory. why u cannot call a local store is beyond stupid. i have been told countless times my local store/s have the phone in stock, but in actuality no one does.
Try another best buy chat. Was able to get price match and issued a $90 best buy gift card.

Checked around 30 pages of replies but still didn't find the answer to this one and hope someone can help me out.

How to get the "activate now" price and how to activate now? My phone is unlocked and my carrier is xfinity mobile. Can I get the activate now price with this carrier? And I assume activate now means I just need to extract the SIM card from my old unlocked phone and insert into the new one I'm buying? Did I miss anything?

Sorry if the question is too naive.

Activate now means you have to activate your phone on one of the 4 major carriers which means you have to open a new line with them during the device purchase if you are not with them already. The thing you mean is Activate later where you can put on your current sim or any other sim. Hope this helps.

Suppose for a second the carrier is not xfinity but one of the big-four nationwide carriers. Activate now means Best Buy must do one of the following:
1. Open a new postpaid account and line with the carrier if you are not already its customer.
2. Open a new line on an account you already have with the carrier.
3. Replace the device on an existing line you have with the carrier.

For 1 and 2 they would give you a sim from that carrier. For 3 you can transfer the sim from old phone to the new.

So you see what you wanted would have been possible on activate now with 3, if you were with one of the big-four (or perhaps Google Fi). Unfortunately Best Buy does not offer xfinity mobile, so you have to do activate later where you can deal with xfinity yourself separate from Best Buy.

There have been reports in the past where the Best Buy agent just gave you a sim from one of the carriers but didn't bother to activate it, while still giving you the activate now price. That isn't what they are supposed to do so YMMV.

You cannot get the activate now price unless it's Verizon Att or T-Mobile.

thanks for the answer and it helps a lot! Yeah it seems that you must be in the big 4 carriers to qualify for this promo. Otherwise you can only get the activate later price which is about $150 or $200 higher.

Loving my new S22+!

Anyone successful with a glass screen protector though? I got a highly rated kind from Amazon that claimed it would work with fingerprints and once I installed it, no it didn't. I turned up touch sensitivity etc and still couldn't register any fingerprints. So I guess a bit of a blessing because now I am "forced" to use the naked Gorilla Glass which I prefer to a screen saver, but I would entertain a glass one if it could work with fingerprints and not too expensive. Let me know if anyone knows a good one

I guess most of the tempered glass protectors are not working good with s22 for onscreen fingerprint. I tried one myself with no luck. The only one that worked flawlessly was this,

BTW this is not a tempered glass but a screen protecting film for which the fingerprint works as expected. Something is better than nothing.

Which phone are you looking at? The regular 128gb S22 is $699 for both Activate Now & Activate Later

Gonna go trade my s20fe for the s21fe later today. Finally found an agent that knows about the promo and has the right instructions. The first two were clueless and only offered $140 for the trade in.

Thanks. So how is the feel of this film? Nice and smooth like the glass or a little more sticky feeling like plastic?

IMO it feels as smooth as the actual display.
