It's not as good as buying the z flip3 for $550 with watch and trading it in for 800, but anything close to that possible with this?
I tried to trade my Z Flip3 5g for a Z Fold4 today at my local Best Buy. Was looking to get the Unlocked version for $1399 with activation today on T-mobile. Wanted the $800 credit as stated in the promo to have a walk out price of $599. The mobile department manager told me that wasn't how it worked and that I could only have the $800 credit off the full $1799 purchase price. I knew he was wrong but couldn't get anywhere when trying to explain it to him and he didn't know how to process that promotion. He kept trying to sell me on the T-Mobile variant with bill credits for 36 months. I don't do credit on consumer devices as cash is king. Any tips on what to say or how to get him tto understand how to honor the $800 promo credit with the t-mobile activate today price of $1399. I don't really want to call corporate while standing there with him on the phone but I guess I will if I have to.
Thanks Yugioh2. I figured I was in the right. I did show him that page multiple times and he insisted it would only be good for an activate later purchase and not a reduced activate today purchase.
Are there any Best Buy employees out there that may have some advice? Is there a special way he has to process it on his end?
You can even start by pretending you'll buy activate later but when it comes to the purchase, change your mind to activate now. If the manager refuses, walk out with the printed coupon and GC and come back later to buy an activate now device using them in a different visit.
Not a BB employee but this has been the experience of multiple people in this thread.

I've used Upsie for years and have been very happy with it. Have multiple repairs with no issues.
