I bought this a month or so ago and I'm surprised at how wide the light beam extends. It was great when installing our dishwasher. It does feel a bit dorky while wearing and I wish the red tail lights at the back were optional as I don't think they are useful for most household needs and add to battery drain.
But I'm tempted to grab another one.

The price after coupon is now $8.75. Also the S1000 is back in stock but it's $13 after coupon (still a good deal IMO).

This seems like a good design for working on car or in the attic. I have a quality very bright spotlight type and a cheap wide beam style. I use the cheap wide beam style for auto work. Having a wider and brighter beam would be even better. The rear red lamp looks like it can easily be removed.

Very bright and wide coverage, one of the most useful cheap headlamps for when you're crammed into dark spaces. The only thing is the first brightest setting you start to feel the LED heat, but the second tier is bright enough and doesn't get as toasty.

This does look goofy, but also like I'd get a ton of use out of it. Thanks!

Bought it the last time it was on sale. Incredibly bright - really nice. Buying a second one. 👍🏼

Thanks, I am in for one.

I have two headlamps, one that was a cheaper from HomeDepot and it's not as bright as they claim, and the other one that is more spotlight and its decently bright but its like 8 years old and the weight of the batteries in that thing makes it so uncomfortable to wear without a ballcap on, which then blocks part of the light...

Bought one for the beach so my kids could run around and catch crabs with both hands. Very light weight and balanced unlike the designs with the bulk light on front. Perfect for kids.

Can the rear red light be removed and the front light still work?

Looks like it has a USB micro instead of USB C?

I have other similar head lamps with USB C....Come On Energizer, this is 2022, use USB C.

Yep Micro-USB.
First thing I checked. Sad but it isn't surprising as so many still do this. Us old-eyed folks take 3 tries to plug them in.

What color temp is it? I'm used to using Milwaukee's true view color temp now and anything whiter hurts the eyes while working

Has anyone with a smaller waist tried wearing it that way? I run a lot at nights and have seriously toyed with the idea of rigging a traditional headlamp to be waist or chest-worn. The problem with traditional spot headlamps is that it casts too narrow a beam and without fixing it well to the body the beam can bounce around a lot and creates a rather unpleasant flickered lighting. This style of beam is exactly what I've been looking for without knowing the product existed. Picked up two for this purpose for a total of 800 lumens which ought to be sufficient even with diffused beam. Only question is if it would fit around a 29" waist without modding. To answer why I don't just wear a headlamp—I do, but I prefer a lot of illumination and the only lamps that can throw that kind of light and last for several hours require rather heavy batteries and mine is not very comfortable on the head, despite it being a $150 device designed for this sort of activity.
TIA
