Fantastic deal! Even if you buy all the components used / refurbished the total would be more than $550.

I have this exact setup at home, plus the non-adjustable speaker stands from Costco. Movies sound absolutely FANTASTIC. Highly recommeneded.

By the way, skip the sub from Sonos. I purchased a Connect:Amp (model ZP120) from eBay for $120, added an inexpensive Infinity subwoofer and increased bass is great.

(side note: to add the sub this way you need to 'Group' together the Beam+Surround and Connect:Amp in the Sonos app)

I think this is a Beam Gen 1 system.
But It is not clear on the page if it is Beam Gen 1 or Gen 2.

For that price, definitely Gen 1 but still good price if I was able to add it to the cart. Play 1's sound wise are the same as the current Ones.

I'm confused. The front page for the product shows free shipping but they want to charge 5.99 for shipping. Did I miss something?

The thing that's odd to me is that play:1s haven't been sold new in years now. They are still great speakers, and work with s2, but where did they get new in box play:1s? Sonos has only had a few refurbs here and there, but very rare.

After checking, the site seems legit. Enjoy your new surround systems, and start obsessing about finding a deal on a sub.

I had a setup with no sub at first and while it makes a difference, its certainly not required. $750 is MSRP on the new Gen 3 sub. They recently had a sale where you could pick one up in the mid 500's.
