Is this site legit? The price seems way too low

Fantastic deal! Even if you buy all the components used / refurbished the total would be more than $550.

I have this exact setup at home, plus the non-adjustable speaker stands from Costco. Movies sound absolutely FANTASTIC. Highly recommeneded.

By the way, skip the sub from Sonos. I purchased a Connect:Amp (model ZP120) from eBay for $120, added an inexpensive Infinity subwoofer and increased bass is great.

(side note: to add the sub this way you need to 'Group' together the Beam+Surround and Connect:Amp in the Sonos app)

Something else to consider: these setups almost REQUIRE a subwoofer, and that'll at least double the cost. The sub for these is $700-$800.
Sonos is supposed to release their mini sub sometime this year which complements the Beam and their newer sound bar. Estimated price on the minis supposed to be $300-$400. So I think they are working on capturing the different budget levels. I plan to grab a mini sub for my Beam setup

The thing that's odd to me is that play:1s haven't been sold new in years now. They are still great speakers, and work with s2, but where did they get new in box play:1s? Sonos has only had a few refurbs here and there, but very rare.

After checking, the site seems legit. Enjoy your new surround systems, and start obsessing about finding a deal on a sub.
I was thinking the exact same thing. They stopped making the Play:1s years ago. Something seems fishy about this deal. Also doesn't say what gen the Beam is but looks like gen 1.

I'm assuming they must be refurbished and look like new?

Edit: also, I just got a Beam during Sonos' refurb sale for $191 and it came shipped in the same retail packaging and condition as a brand new Beam.

The site is legit. I picked up a Google Nest Mini and Chromecast from them 2 years ago for $20 during a discount code mistake.

Ask her if she's talking about the deal to be sure.

I had a setup with no sub at first and while it makes a difference, its certainly not required. $750 is MSRP on the new Gen 3 sub. They recently had a sale where you could pick one up in the mid 500's.
I've set up two Beams and they definitely lack bass. They're good for TV, but movies and music you're going to miss a subwoofer.

Cool idea with the ConnectAmp. Problem is it's discontinued, so who knows how long you'll be able to group them in. I'm reading its replacement the Port can't introduce a wired subwoofer because of delay issues Frown

I have the arc, 2 ones for the rears and added a sub when it was on sale. I don't think you need the sub , it's not a deal breaker . My setup is in a open floor plan with 19ft ceilings. If you are in a smaller room I think you should be fine

Do you use the S1 app? Sonos site says Connect Amp doesn't work with S2.

The Arc is vastly different than the beam. I agree you could skip the sub with the Arc.

rtings.com measured the -6db point of the Arc as < 3Hz lower [rtings.com], so I don't think the difference is all that significant.
