Do yourself a favor and buy a Blackstone. They can be bought for about the same $$ currently at Walmart

Um, why? Blackstones are a one trick pony and Camp Chef us probably better quality. And about 1/3 of people I hear from who have Blackstones say even with proper seasoning they completely rust. My dad and brother each have one. One rusted and one didnt. But this seems way better. It's a grill and a griddle.

This is a $600 grill everywhere else. Seems decently slick to me

The grill grates are a cool feature but one of the things I like most about my Blackstone is the grease goes out the back of the unit. I'm not a fan of the front grease tray like this one has.

I like the front grease tray on these bc you can see if it's full and easily access grease to put it back on flattop to cook with it

I think people are missing the difference between this Camp Chef and Blackstone/Sam's Club griddle.

This has grill grates as well as a stronger build quality. I've seen this in person and the griddle thickness is definitely thicker than blackstone or Sam's Club.

The only downside is it seems to be a little rougher finish on the griddle than a blackstone. Similar to Lodge cast iron, it has some minor bumps/pits, but good seasoning can help prevent issues.

I also have the Camp Chef Smoke Vault and it's incredibly stable in temperature and won me over on build quality and cook functionality. IMHO Camp Chef is worth the additional cost over big box store griddles.

Yes you just need to drill out the orfices. It's stupid easy

To convert to natural gas you will want to drill out this orifice with a #54 drill bit for the FTG900, FTG600, and the FTG475. For the FTG475LC it will be a #52 drill bit.

I saw this at costco last week for 399.99 as well. However it was super heavy and I have a teeny honda civic and i didn't think it would fit in my car. Now I am tempted to get this.
