I picked mine up yesterday! I thought it might have been a single store that had it marked down but looks like there is others.

I am in Phoenix AZ.

I also ordered the zgrills from Sams. Will compare both and decide which one I am going to keep. I am new to all this pellet grill stuff.

And thoughts? Really want a Camp Chef but this is really tempting. This price in my Texas store also. Has a comparison chart vs a Trager on it.

Can this sear a steak? I have the Traeger Century 885 and it doesn't sear well. Looking for something that can fill in what my Traeger cant do
Do yourself a favor and get a small Blackstone. A one burner runs around 75, 2 burner around 120. I reverse sear using my traeger to get a steak around 115 then sear in a screaming hot Blackstone afterwards for An amazing crust

Pick up this table top griddle at sams. It's on clearance for $49.71 at select locations.

Just picked this up and assembled. Think the package is 175lbs and big. Took 2 people to load it into the truck then assembled from the tailgate. 1 thing I learned is that the smoking function only seems to apply at lower temps (sub 200). Testing with ribs as I type for first run.

These are good smokers and wood pellet ovens. To sear, get a blackstone, grill grates, or. Weber grill. other option is getting a Recteq Bullseye. Traeger's are over rated. I have a Recteq and it's great.

Used a Recteq the other day for the first time and thought I had to be doing it wrong - was way too easy and perfect

Not being pedantic but the box says closer to 187lbs and I believe it! It's heavy - my wife and I managed to get it onto a flatbed cart and into my Jeep but decided to unpack it in the driveway and carry it in piece by piece due to the weight. It's HEAVY lol.

PRO TIP: As packaged, the firebox has the smoker's legs and a few other parts INSIDE it - taking these out BEFORE carrying it in would have saved a hernia and a few swear words.

Assembly took about 90 minutes by myself with the exception of a few minutes I did need a helper. It was a very easy assembly IMHO.

Been seasoning it and breaking it in today and am really impressed by the temperature consistency on the left / right + top / middle / bottom racks. I had (6) probes in various locations throughout this afternoon while set to 350° and it was about 12° cooler on the low rack on the left side, about 13° warmer on the low right, and damn near spot on everywhere else, including the upper shelf. That upper shelf doesn't have much height, but you could easily get some ribs up there or some chicken or turkey legs - just don't plan on being able to put a pork shoulder on the very top.

This is our first foray into pellets smokers after using an electric vertical smoker for 6+ years, but at around $300 out the door, this really does seem like a good deal. 500° max temp and the included cover (which is actually high quality) is what got me to pull the trigger. 2 year warranty which is decent enough.

Time will tell as to the longevity, but supposedly this is a clone of the Coleman Cookout pellet smoker, so if you're looking for more info about this unit, google that model for additional reviews etc.

I guess with pellet smokers/grills the temperature to snake at is lower? 160-200 seems really low.

Using my Weber Smokey mountain, and from everything I have always read, 225-250 is the ideal temperature. Reading forums too, some even use 275.

Saw it at Sam's yesterday in Tampa, FL area. Sold everything when I sold my house, including my grill, so I'd like to purchase this, but need a house!
