Terrific deal… just know that this is not the latest version of the tool. This is 2 generations older than latest version.
Still a current model on Makita website. There are three newer models and 2 older models. How do you determine the generations with different model numbers? EDIT: dead

Is this worth it at $94.55 after taxes and scheduled delivery fee? It's more of a want than a need so I'm torn.
Probably not for most unless already invested in them.
I just bought 4 (or I hope I did, we'll see if they show up) for the batteries.
I am invested in red(milwaukee), blue (makita) and yellow (dewalt).
If it wasn't for this deal showing up tonight I would be dropping the blue for just red and yellow due to the battery cost. I had two batteries die in the past week. This deal may have saved blue.

Very good deal. I almost bought this as bare tool 3 days ago for $62 on ebaa. I upgraded to the Makita XDT14Z tool only for $89 with 10% bak. Don't need batteries, but I would have gone for this. EDIT: Got one...
XDT14Z is basically the same impact driver but with 3 speed settings and a T mode vs variable speed trigger control only with the XDT13 model.
I own and prefer the XDT14 but for those who never use any settings they will perform the same.
Mine was finally delivered yesterday. I did do a text message communication with their CS team, who assured me that they'd filed a ticket to have my order shipped since the driver was in stock. Not sure if that actually did anything, or it would have shipped eventually anyway.

Yes, mine shipped also, I just let it ride. Didn't do anything lol.

EDIT: dead
Had 4 available local for Saturday delivery at cost of 35.00... ughhhh (but extra militaey 10% off 4 of them paid the difference, almost)
Via compuer (pc) during checkout it dumped those 4 as well.
Swapped to Mobile and went through.
Fingers crossed. Had planned on just 2 for the batteries, but screw it I'll take the extra batteries.
With luck I'll get 2 of the 4 ordered.
