Asics has been weird in the past 12 months. Nike/Adidas and others have been heavily discounting like other apparel companies because of high inventories and consumer spending sentiment but I've never seen fewer Asics deals than the past year. I'm not sure what's going on with them, they have to be losing volume to the Nike sales that happened in the last month. I can't predict if there will be more sales with them but I'm sure other shoe companies will have more good sales this year.

Imo Acis Gel running shoes are heavy for actual long distance running. If lightweight is necessary you should buy other for other brands and models; otherwise, these are comfortable for daily walking and casual running.

I don't think these are a good as hooka. I bought these last year when they weee on sale for $45 and they are really good shoes for all day walking and standing. I never ran with them though
