Off topic. Any idea which Apple watch version would be <$100 black Fri time frame. Got Apple watch 3, from Wal-Mart, for $99 some time ago for black Fri. Don't need the latest. Just need it to be sub $100. I find the watch useful, but don't need latest and greatest

Probably series 3 again. I don't think Apple would allow discounting the SE to that level. We may see $179-199 for SE gps version.

Wasn't the 7 in green just $249? Would that not be a better deal? I'm guessing with a new SE and 8 coming out in the fall, prices may go even lower or at least be available at these prices again a few times.

This watch is the equivalent of the series 4 at this point, meaning four years old. Costco has the green for sale for $279 in another thread. Consider spending a bit more for that model instead.

The actual watch body is a very dark shade of green—could pass for black in a lot of lighting—so swap out the eye-watering "Clover" band and you're set. The Series 3 is rumored to be set for discontinuation next month, and it's long overdue given that it can't even be upgraded to current watchOS without a wipe-and-reinstall.

Just got my green one today. You literally can't tell the body is green it's that dark. Already ordered a black Apple band for it and call it a day. I'll take Costco's return policy any day.

If you're in the Apple ecosystem ie you have an iPhone, Apple Watch has big advantages. Otherwise there's no point if you're on Android
