I have tried a few of these slicers. I returned this one, purchased at $58. Most, like this one, have a place impossible to clean, under the thickness adjustment knob. I only like the chefs choice 615a when on sale. It cleans nicely, but it does cost a lot more.

Yes. Love it. It did blow a fuse once, but very easily replaced.

This has plastic gears which means quite likely to break within first couple of uses. You cannot replace the gear either since they do not sell it separately. If you are going to use it a slicer often, pay more and get one with metal gears.

This is great for homemade 3-ways. Nothing beats a real beef, but fun for experimenting.
