Wouldn't expect too much from this, but it's only $3.49 and looks kinda cool. Smilie

Have this same one. Be careful taking it out of it's sheath. I (stupidly) took it out quickly and sliced my thumb open.

Ouch! Any other feedback on it? Have no experience with this knife, but like an okay deal for $3.49.

Can't pass this price up for a basic knife that's good to have camping.

Grabbed one. Worst case scenario, I can throw it at random objects and try to make it stick without feeling guilty about it. Smilie

Can anybody confirm if this will throw well? The squirrels and alley cats need to be taught a lesson

I read some of the reviews, and some say it throws well. Dunno for sure until I try it. If not, it will be on a box back to Amazon by day 29 with maybe a few chips and dings on it. Smilie

LoL! But, in all seriousness, I'm tired of hearing reviews saying the knife is smaller than I expected. Doesn't ever knife listing in the universe list the actual size of the blade somewhere in the specs? Reviewers should just admit they didn't bother to read the specs. I know they advertise this as a 7" knife, but the specs clearly explain that's half blade and half handle.

Looks like a minimalist throwing type knife with cord wrap handle and a cheap nylon sheath. For the money it certainly would cut whatever you need in a pinch. It's only made out of relatively soft 3cr13 stainless steel, which won't hold an edge very long, but the softness should help its toughness to survive the shock of being thrown. If you want to throw it then buy three because it sucks to have to walk to the target after each throw. And remember learning to throw a knife takes practice, but don't practice on your neighborhood cats. I love my cats and would be mighty upset with someone doing that. Not to mention it will get you arrested at a minimum.

This is a cheap knife at a cheap price. Keep your expectation reasonable and you'll be happy. If you want a better quality knife for your camping kit, consider a Morakniv at about $10. And make sure you practices sharpening and put a sharpener in with any knife you pack away for emergencies. The Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener is my favorite and will sharpening any knife on the market. About $30 on Amazon.

This reminded me to sharpen the Mora I keep in my car before I go camping next week! Thanks!

Most people would probably just buy it as an inexpensive knife to play around with and maybe toss as some squirrels wandering around.

You've never been plagued by squirrels, have you? They lose their charm pretty quickly.
