For those who are trading-In be warned; i traded in my 2019 macbook pro about 3 months now in preparation for the M2 release and i have YET to receive my "trade-in" giftcard. Ive left contact emails and nothing yet. My "trade" status window remains "approved; payment in process".

Thanks everyone... Looks like the trade in is kinda crap. At least the price is the same as BB.... Better warranty if you have the Costco card. Still on the fence though... Not sure if these will go lower or not... Definitely the lowest I've seen.

You can type anything wrong in the S/N box, hit the "start quote" button and it will prompt you to select your device manually.

I would get an m2 MacBook it's a lot better. The savings aren't that great. If you get it from the apple education store it's 1100. It's faster, has a better screen and fixed some of the first gens issue people complained about.

Just keep in mind that on the base level, the M1 storage speeds are twice as fast as the M2 due to engineering design choices Apple Made
