Not really a great deal. Between the overheating, weak wireless connectivity, and poor battery life I don't think it's worth this price. Google Tensor and Samsung Modem seems to work terribly together. You might as well get the 6a and save money for the same experience.
I have a regular pixel 6. The fingerprint reader sucks. And the connectivity issues are definitely there. But that doesn't happen enough for me to get two aggravated. But the fingerprint reader is just terrible.
The $300 trade-in Google Store deal is good through September 24th for the Pixel 6A... I responded to this commenter already with the details.
Phones eligible for $300 Trade-In:
Google Pixel 3a
Google Pixel 4, 4XL, 4a
Google Pixel 5
Apple iPhone 7, 7 Plus
Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus
Apple iPhone SE (2nd Gen)
Really. Signal dropouts with the modem, finger print sensor is hit or miss, snails pace charging. Updates takes 2+ hours. Ghost touches. Works more like a budget phone rather than a flagship. I'm hoping they fix everything with the 7 so I can dump this POS.
I'm not a big fan of my P6 pro. The camera is awesome but the phone is very buggy and the battery is horrible.
That's one major reason I don't like my 6a, the 1 year-old $350 OnePlus 8 I traded in to Google had better battery life at it's current state than the brand new pixel I have 😒
I have no issue either, but the only thing I don't like about it is the battery life. I will trade it in a heartbeat when the 7 come out with a similar trade offer like the 3A.

How long have you had it? Battery has been fine for me, basically after a week it learns your usage patterns and deprioritizes apps you don't use. Android 13 is supposed to bring improvements to the battery, network, and connectivity.
I have the regular Pixel 6...no issues with the fingerprint sensor at all. Went from an SGS8 to this, so no complaints here. Data connectivity can be glitchy from time to time...sometimes it would show H+, H, and sometimes it would show 5G even at good coverage areas. Might have to set it to airplane mode and turn it off to reset the signal connections. But I suppose all phones come with some downsides. I really enjoy the camera lenses tho. Battery life is decent for me. Can go a full day of usage and by night time I'd have about 35% left but I'd still charge it nightly. I use a Spigen transparent case, dropped my phone on hard woodfloor once face down and no cracks/scratches.

It has better connectivity then 13 pro my wife struggles for it and I have 3 bars. Real first hand exp don't go with paid reviews that what you get.
I have the regular Pixel 6 and it is the worst phone in terms of connectivity I have ever used. Signal is always weak or none, data connection drops all the time, and it burns the battery down all the time searching for a signal so my battery always dies in half a day. Also doing even basic web browsing makes it get very warm, the Tensor is a lightly customized Exynos and it is terribly inefficient and that also kills the battery.
The camera is amazing on Pixels but I really need my phone to work as a phone. Pixel ain't it, I'm trading my Pixel 6 for a phone that can actually have a signal in as soon as the new phones are released this year.
only get this for the telephoto lens and pixel's computational photography magic. Otherwise, it's not really a step up from a Pixel 3. FWIW, I paid $550 at launch after trading in my Pixel 3 to Verizon. Personally, I'd wait for the Pixel 7 or for a better sale.

I have one and this is the first phone that I've wanted to throw out a window.
