If chase card holder, wait for the chase offer. Last 2 years it was $25 off on the nfl ticket including this deal. Should be available to add to account in next 2 weeks. So wait!!
Hope they don't have issues, since its ATT now. NFL+ plus $80 subscription, (got 1 year free), was down to even watch/record Pre-Season games (they won't have live games streaming, all games available recorded, 10-mins after game end) I got it to watch preseason (Free), but again they crashed, just with Pre-Season streaming.
I got approved, then used the e-mail from my old DirecTV account when I paid for it. So I've bought it, but now their system is confused and won't let me do anything when I try to login. It kicks me right back out.

NFL sunday ticket only streams live game, right before kickoff. This is my first year with NFL+, but local games will probably only be the game, but playing with the app, they do have some analysis shows. It appears to be the NFL channel, you can watch hard knocks etc.
Any other free ways to get local channels, especially on a Samsung smartTV?
