I miss going to bookstores and browsing for a while, selecting a few books and just paying for them.

They actually got their costs down and actually are turning a profit. Not as much as they like. I actually drag my kid there to get a book so he has to read it and the prices for Manga and other stuff beats Amazon and other retailers alot of times or just that they have it.

$13 for a hardcover is a great price. Hardcovers are usually at a minimum $20

Even at 50% off, the prices are still ridiculously high. How long until BN is the next Border?

The best deals are the $3 BOPUS deals (buy online, pick up in store) at the bottom of the landing page.
Lots of BN Exclusive and kids books. YMMV if you store has stock though.

My Barnes and Noble has extensive variety of magazines from US and Europe. I buy craft magazines from UK there. I will definitely miss them if BN goes out of business.

Definitely seems to have issues on Android. Can't actually buy anything for one. Just says checking availability for pickup and never comes back. All plugins disabled for the site. 🤷 ♂️

We have giraffes can't dance. My 3yo and 4 yo love it. Have had it for a couple years now and it still gets picked from their "library" of about 75 books on a weekly basis
